For my set of patterns I want to have a one colour through out so that they relate to one another more.some patterns my have slight variations or exceptions but the majority of the patterns will stay one colour. I think green is to bright and obscures the pattern a little. This wouldn't be a very good colour for my patterns. I think blue is the preferred colour over red, although both colours are aesthetically appealing the blue creates a nicer atmosphere.
